| [ACTIVE] | htc-msm-linux-2.6.39 | 2.6.39 kernel for msm devices |
The main purpose of this service is to provide the latest Linux kernels for some of the msm based HTC devices.
The Linux kernels are used to run Android, or in the case of the Blackstone, even Debian. For informations about running Android/Debian, please check out the links below.
The autobuild system is currently running on my server at home and all data are pushed to an external web-host.
Currently, the system monitors the GIT repository at: http://gitorious.org/linux-on-qualcomm-s-msm/linux-msm head htc-msm-2.6.27 for kernel updates, Browse
And http://gitorious.org/linux-on-qualcomm-s-msm/compat-wireless-msm for Wi-Fi updates, Browse
Each build section consists of the following entries:
1.Build id. This is used to correctly identify the build. Please use the unique build id (either kernel or wifi – whatever makes most sense in your case) when submitting bugreports.
2.Link to the package containing the build. In the older builds, this was just a *.zImage. In the newer builds this is a *.tar archive, containing both the kernel and compatible Wi-Fi as well as compcache modules.
3.Buildlog. This contains all of the output from the compiler – when the package was built. This also logs the chages since the last build (hover the mouse over the icon to see the changes since last build)
4.Comments. Anyone is free to contribute in the comments section, though note: This is NOT for bugreporting! Please use the bugtracker for bugreports. Please submit only relevant informations about that specific build.
5.Votes. Anyone is free to submit a positive or a negative vote to a build. This will help us track successful vs. non-successful builds. (Only one vote per person please)If you have any suggestions, feel free to contact me. I can often be found on the IRC (freenode.org) or on the xda forum with the username: GlemSom
